methods

While a discussion of safety rules is essential, the challenge to educators is to allow the children to challenge themselves. Step back, watch carefully, offer guidance and a helping hand only when necessary. Provide lots of encouragement to push children further when they are ready but are a little scared. You will be surprised at how capable children become when they are allowed to explore freely.

This is good for adults as well!
